An interesting issue came about today when I installed the GTI Proxy and tried to authenticate with the default credentials. After it failing a number of times, and a call to the support team they discovered that the password is actually correct, but the GTI Proxy image is using an American keyboard configuration! Instead of the @ symbol, UK users need to use the ” symbol to get in!

The problem is that most people don’t even get as complex with their passwords. Raise your hand if your password is your pet’s name!  Or if your password is “password”!

Now if instead of “Fluffy” you choose “Fluffy is Puffy” (authors suggestion) it would take 39,637,200 years using the Dictionary method he describes in the article to hack your password!  Using a combination of three words as a password makes your simple password incredibly secure. Is this awesome or what?
