Hi there! I’m Andy and I work in the field of HMG Information Assurance for a private sector service provider. My day to day role is supporting an infrastructure accredited to store and process data with a protective marking of RESTRICTED. I am responsible for monitoring of security tools; incident investigation; service improvement; crypto management and advising on HMG policy & best practice.

I hold CISSP, CEH, MCSE & MCITP along with VCP, CCA, and Security+. Currently studying for a MSc at De Montfort University (DMU) in Computer Security I am also working on my CESG Certified Professional (CCP) and longer term towards CLAS accreditation.

My blog is mainly around HMG IA although occassionally I will write about other areas of IA.
